About the Role
Highly respected company based near Truro, Cornwall are looking to recruit a permanent Buyer/Purchaser.
Duties:
Purchasing – Sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, budget control, the “Procure to
Pay” process , subcontract services
Stock Control – Controlling materials from booking into the warehouse through to consumption and
from manufacturing through to invoicing. Stock control, handling of returns, quality dispositions .
Production Planning – Planning and scheduling of products through a Manufacturing Facility .
Demand planning, MRP Systems , prioritisation , capacity management
Shipping – Picking, shipping and transportation. International trade. Imports and Exports.
Health Safety and Environmental – Warehouse safety, CosHH, MSDS sheets , control of waste
materials
