If you have Minimum 6 months’ in an accountancy practice…
As a Assistant Accountant you will provide support to both internal staff and external clients and will work predominately with your team based in Truro. Part of your role will involve assisting in the day-to-day financial activities which will include data entry, month end VAT Returns, management accounts, year-end financial accounts and tax returns.
Getting your teeth into…
- Assisting with financial and management accounts preparation for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
- Assisting with the preparation of personal and business tax returns
- Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
- Carrying out bookkeeping activities including journal postings and ledger reconciliations
- Processing client records accurately using Xero, QuickBooks and other accountancy software
- Handling queries and questions from clients and advising them on work completed
